Fresh on the heels of last months release, Bandai Namco have revealed the first new character joining the My Hero One’s Justice roster. No trailer was released, but we did get a release date and pricing for the new addition.
The first new character to enter the fray will be Yoarashi, the wind master. After turning down acceptance at the prestigious U.A. High School, Yoarashi is a first year student at Shiketsu high school. His ability to control wind makes his quirk very powerful against opponents. Yoarashi first appeared in season 3 of the anime, so his inclusion doesn’t fit in well for the story timeline, but he makes an excellent addition to the My Hero One’s Justice roster. His inclusion will cost $2.99 for online and local battles, and anyone wanting to get additional missions for mission mode will be able to purchase his stages for an additional $1.99. Yoarashi will be available for purchase beginning on November 14th.
We just published our review for My Hero One’s Justice yesterday, and we enjoyed a lot of the time we spent with it. We though that “the lackluster story-mode combined with shallow combat doesn’t make this feel like the My Hero Academia game fans deserve, but at the same time the huge fights with the flashy attacks mirror the show and make for a dazzling spectacle.”
Bandai Namco has a long history of continued support for their launches, with Dragonball FighterZ receiving a ton of new characters after launch, and SOULCALIBURVI is about to see 2B from Nier: Automata join the roster. With such a wealth of material to draw from, I’d be surprised if we didn’t see a ton of new characters from the My Hero Academia world enter One’s Justice’s lineup.
My Hero One’s Justice is available now for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Purchases are available here.
