Fresh out of E3, Activision and Treyarch have revealed a new trailer for the upcoming ‘United Front’ DLC for Call of Duty: WWII.
Launching first on Playstation next week, the third DLC will feature the allies battling their way toward Berlin across three new multiplayer maps. The first map is Market Garden, set during one of the largest airborne operations in Europe. Monte Cassino is next up with players joining the Italian campaign, featuring high rooftop vantage points and cliff lines. The final multiplayer map is Stalingrad which is a snipers paradise. Two bases sit across from each other in the middle of a decimated city. Players will fight over sniper perches to hold down the center of the map.
There will also be a new War mode map as well as a new zombies campaign. The new War mode mission is called Operation Supercharge. Allies will be airdroping into Tunisia and attempt to take over a Nazi occupied village to earn supplies. This is followed up by detonating a key transport bridge to cut off Nazi supplies. The final objective will be to capture key Axis points. The new zombies map is called The Tortured Path. Players will follow General Rideau as he leads a caravan across 2,000 miles of infested land. His mission is to take Emperor Barbarossa’s sword to the end of the world. Players will be fighting zombies across three new unique areas, exclusive to the United Front DLC pack. The new DLC will be available on June 26th first for Playstation, a month before it launches for Xbox One and PC. We have high hopes for the United Front pack, especially after we thought so highly of The War Machine. Stay tuned for full thoughts sometime next week at Electric Bento.
United Front launches first for Playstation 4 on June 26th. United Front can be purchased as part of the season pass or available separately.
