It’s been a long wait since Nintendo first announced that the Nintendo Switch would be getting an all new Fire Emblem for the portable hybrid. A new gameplay trailer was revealed today for Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and it sure looks incredible.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses isn’t a spin-off like Fire Emblem Warriors, and is a return to form with the deep and tactical strategy gameplay players have come to know and love. Launching in Spring 2019 the new trailer looks stunning with easy transitions from the map to battle. Fully rendered 3D cutscenes are bursting with color and action on Nintendo Switch. Characters move around the map with fully rendered models too, instead of the 16-bit sprites players are used to, making Fire Emblem: Three Houses set itself apart from the pack. It also seems like the world outside battle is fully rendered as well, as can be seen in the new trailer. Fire Emblem: Three Houses is making some large changes from the norm, but as is a part of all evolution, change is good. Check out the new trailer below, and keep your eyes on Electric Bento for more E3 coverage.
