Activision has been rolling out hot and heavy with Call of Duty Black Ops 4 zombies news now that we’re less than a month away from launch.
The Blackout beta just concluded, and we had a ton of fun dropping in against 80+ other players to see who would be the last one standing. A month before that, we had two rounds of beta weekends for the multiplayer portion of Black Ops 4, and just like the Blackout beta, we had an absolute blast trying out the new classes, modes, weapons, and maps. Now, Activision has revealed an all new trailer for the upcoming zombies mode XI.
Per Press Release:
On October 12, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will deliver the largest Zombies offering ever on disc, which includes one of three experiences, including IX. Bringing a new cast of characters to a new storyline, IX is punctuated by “Mad Hatter,” a song written by multi-platinum recording artists, Avenged Sevenfold. The song is the fourth consecutive Black Ops collaboration with the band.
On top of both Blackout and multiplayer modes, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will feature three zombies experiences straight out of the box: XI, Voyage of Despair, and Blood of the Dead. Voyage of Despair takes place on the Titanic, while XI is set in a rome-like coliseum. Blood of the Dead takes place in a prison and is an expanded version of the Black Ops II zombies map Mob of the Dead. Despite lacking a single player campaign, this year’s Call of Duty is still stuffed to the brim with things to do. Check out the new trailer below, and stay tuned to Electric Bento for further information as it rolls in from Activision!
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be available October 12th for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Battle.net. Preorders for the various versions of Black Ops 4 are still available here.
